The Careers Technical Education fashion show takes place Saturday at Manteca High, along the outer plaza of Garfield Street, next to the Winter Gym.

80 models will be on display, made up of students and staff from MHS, East Union, Sierra High and Lathrop High.

CTE Careers with Children will also lend a hand, working with young “mini role models”, according to CTE instructor Angie Anaya.

The annual fashion show will start at 6 p.m.

Cost is $5 for general admission, $10 for VIP – those in the VIP section will be treated to snacks and appetizers specially prepared by CTE’s culinary students, from 5-6 p.m.

Proceeds will allow Anya’s CTE students to attend the annual Fashion Institute of Design & Fashion Merchandising event in Los Angeles.

Its models come outfitted with the latest trends at participating companies such as Target, Old Navy and Maurice’s.

They will be showcasing these latest collections as well as thrift, denim, cultural, monochronic (rainbow colors) and theater collections.

The MHS Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, CTE Video Production and MHS Floral Courses will also participate in the fashion show.
