Living on purpose, Christ’s passion is God’s amazing grace

April is the month of new beginnings when the trees begin to sprout their leaves and the flowers emerge from the ground to express their beauty. It is also the time when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

God’s infinite love for us is the foundation of the Christian faith because without the resurrected Jesus to conquer death, hell and the grave, He would have been just another brave martyr. You see, His perfect blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat and was the only payment that was holy and powerful enough to redeem, transform and redeem the spirits of those who would believe.

John 19:30 states that the Son of God cried on the cross, “It is finished”, which guaranteed the covenant authority of the word of God to be true and the spiritual reality that eternal salvation is now available to all who hear the gospel, are convinced to repent, and choose to embrace it by faith. This is why the gospel is called the good news and it is truly the ultimate promise of hope and peace that the world needs to hear.

Christians experience the life-changing miracle of God who loves the world so much that he sent his Son to save us from our sins. He desires to restore us to the personal fellowship that was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed Him in the Garden.

The greatest love story ever told is recorded in the Bible and many of you have memorized the message found in Matthew 28:5-6 when the angels appeared to the women at the empty tomb.

“The angel said to the women: Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for He is risen as He said! Come see where they placed his body.

It is difficult to understand how important these words are. It is essential in our commission to relay this truth, to emphasize the glorious significance of what his sacrifice and resurrection accomplished, what it guarantees for those who believe, and how we can gain and have blessed assurance of these glorious promises today.

The Lord has given most of us a good life filled with blessings, but I’m sure you’ve noticed that no matter how much “stuff” we accumulate, it doesn’t bring spiritual contentment or joy. Material possessions, money, friends and loved ones can make us happy to some extent, but nothing on earth can satisfy or replace our personal relationship with God.

When we talk about hope, it usually means wondering if something is going to turn out the way we want it to, but there is faith-enhanced spiritual hope where we can definitely know that our prayers will be answered without having to worry. or to be afraid. . Romans 15:13 reminds us, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

You see, those who trust and know God are born again into an eternal inheritance that can never change or fail.

Be encouraged today knowing that when Christ fulfilled his mission on the cross and rose from the dead, those who partake with him are preserved by the greatest power and authority in heaven and on earth. He is the creator of all things and is Alpha and Omega.

We do not place our trust in this earthly realm, but we can fully trust the one who knows everything, created everything and controls everything.

Humans try to build the perfect life without God, but only Christ is truly perfect. He is holy and blameless, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent and exalted in the highest place with a name that is above all names.

It is good news to know that as a child of God we have a crown of glory with our name on it because our future home is reserved for us in heaven forever. Like Abraham, we look forward to that city with foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Let us rejoice and be eternally grateful to Christ for becoming the bridge of light, hope, and truth between this kingdom and the life to come. Rejoice today that He is risen!

Luke 18:33 says, “And they will scourge him, and put him to death; and on the third day he will rise again. » Praise him forever!
