Passion for profit: Buffalo Brew Fab

KENMORE, NY (WKBW) — From a sheet of metal to a work of art.

There’s nothing Brandon Farrell can’t do with metal.

“2017 is when the business kicked off,” Farrell said. “I saw a barrel table and said, ‘I can build it better. “”

That’s exactly what he did. Farrell said his company, Buffalo Brew Fab, started making keg tables, keg sinks and even keg urinals.

Today, five years later, the company is known for its unique yard signs and hometown pride collection.

Farrell says “Everybody loves the Buffalo themed garden stakes, the 716, the loves, the houses.”

Everything is made uniquely to Kenmore, on a large machine that cuts through the hardest metal.

Metalworking is something he learned to do when he was 18 years old.

“My dad got me a job at his metal shop,” Farrell said. “He said if you don’t go to college, learn a trade. I’ve learned everything since then.”

Farrell says he won’t be stopping anytime soon and his business wouldn’t be what it is today without the people of Buffalo.

“People who live in Buffalo and travel outside of Buffalo, snowbirds, come here for flamingos, Buffalo steaks to show their pride in other states,” he said.

Dedication and persistence are what Farrell credits for helping turn his passion into profits.

“I’m that person that you drive down the street and I show my kids that I built that,” he said. “You take pride in your work. It’s fun to see your products all over Western New York and the United States.”
